Difference 1: iFloor 3 is with Digital Indicators Display

Although this difference plays a less vital role in selecting between these two, we thought of explaining why it is so.

iFloor 3 has a digital display that shows six indicators that are as follows:

Design & Maneuverability

iFloor 3 is of length 11.3 inches, width 10 inches, and height 43.3 inches. On the other hand, the iFloor 3 Breeze Complete has a dimensions length of 11.26, a width of 10.87, and a height of 43.31 inches.

Both have a similar visual appearance with a white-grey color pattern and weigh identically, but if we consider even the decimal values, iFloor 3 Breeze is lighter. The iFloor 3 Breeze weighs 9.26 pounds, while the iFloor 3 weighs 9.9 pounds.

In addition to its lightweight and cordless design, there’s another notable feature: the self-propelling capability that enables the cleaner to move in the direction you desire. Here is an example to understand better: the rolling luggage, no matter how much it weighs, requires minimal effort to move – the design is made that way (self-propelling, we say).

Both models feature an ergonomically designed handle with buttons placed near your thumb. This layout allows easy clicks, such as initiating the cleaning process, self-cleaning, and changing modes.

The brush roller does not have bristles, so there is less possibility of getting entangled. Even the roller gets, the cleaning tool (included in the package) comes into help. You don’t have to hunt for the cleaning tool. The docking station has a special place to store all the accessories.

Tank Capacities & Self-Cleaning Function

The clean water tank has a capacity of 0.6 liters, while the dirt water tank is 0.5 liters. Both models in the iFloor 3 series share the same.

The vacuum is cleverly designed with a partition between the water tanks, ensuring there’s no possibility of clean water and dirt water mixing.

Clean water is evenly distributed onto the brush roller and sucked back to the dirt water tank. 

For every 500 ml of water scattered onto the brush roller, about 450 ml gets back after mopping, leaving minimal water on the floor. 

Less water on the floor surface reduces the moisture and unpleasant odors.

For iFloor 3 series models, there is significant room for brush roller design improvement.

While 475 ml would be excellent, 450 ml still works fine.

Regarding the self-clean process, when you press the button on top, the clean water is forcefully circulated through the tubes and brush roller. The brush roller starts spinning at a high speed, and the precision blade next to it squeezes the brush, removing water from it and sending it to the dirt water tank. 

All you need to do is empty the dirt water tank when necessary or when the indicator blinks.

Poor Edge Cleaning Performance – The Major Downside

iFloor 3 and iFloor 3 Breeze Complete models lack edge cleaning options. It can clean edges and corners but not as effectively as the tineco’s upscale options.

If you want to clean the edges and corners with iFloor 3 series models, there is a possible way, but it takes more effort and is less efficient.

What is that? Simple to say, but not easy to clean.

Carpet Cleaning?

No. Yes, you are hearing it right.

The line-up of Tineco’s wet-dry cleaners is not suitable for cleaning carpets, not even the few top-tier models with suction-only mode.

Two primary reasons for this:

1. Firstly, the carpets contain fibers that sometimes break down and get entangled with the brush roller, resulting in device blockage.
2. Carpets require very high suction power to reach the deep, which even the top-end tineco wet dry cleaners struggle to provide, no doubt about these base iFloor 3 series models.

Moreover, the iFloor 3 series models are primarily for sealed floors like hardwoods, tiles, vinyl, and laminate, and tineco excels in this area without question.

App Connectivity?

The iFloor 3 series models do not have an app feature. Is it a drawback? Let’s break it down:

Having an app integration would be of great difference if it is an automatic robot vacuum. For manual cleaning vacuum cleaners, an app would be helpful, but not to that extent. You can view cleaning reports, battery status, replacement alerts, etc.

Even without any app assistance, these vacuum cleaners are easy to operate, with buttons conveniently placed near the handle. Want to use the “Max Mode”? Press the On/Off button twice.

Moreover, alerts like brush roller and filter replacements would be missed, but we recommend doing so every 4 to 6 months, depending on the clean frequency.

The iFloor 3 series models boast a 150W-rated suction motor that operates well. This motor is built without brushes. So, unlike the other vacuum brands with brushed motors, it makes less noise.

There are two possibilities. One the odor comes from a dirt water tank or the brush roller. 

The Tineco’s dirt water tank, due to its sealed design, typically doesn’t emit odors. So, the brush roller might be the cause of the odor coming out.

After every self-clean, we suggest ejecting the brush roller and letting it dry under the sun or in the windy space. It eliminates any moisture left and prevents unpleasant odors.

Can I use the vacuum without water?

Yes. Even if you haven’t filled the Clean Water Tank (CWT) with water, the vacuum still functions. The process remains the same, the suction grabs the dust, and the brush roller sweeps the floor. Please note that this waterless cleaning doesn’t mop the floor efficiently.

Does the brush roller or vacuum body scratch tiles?

No. The vacuum’s wheels prevent direct contact with the vacuum’s bottom surface with the floor, and the brush roller’s side-rounded plastic body eliminates any risk of scratching.
